Authentic spring atmosphere – a herbarium on bare rock
The Kornati “moon” landscape comes to life in spring. Irises (Iris adriatica, I. illyrica) spring up along the dry-stone walls, yellow-green clouds of tree spurge (Euphorbia dendroides) spread across the slopes, silvery bindweed (Convolvulus cneorum) glistens between the rocks, and with a little patience you can even find orchids along the paths.
Fewer crowds, more peace
Spring in the Kornati means peace, quiet, crystal-clear sea, long days and relaxing sailing. Perfect for a short break that recharges your batteries without weighing you down.
Lower ticket prices off-season
In the pre-season, entrance tickets are cheaper, and you save even more if you buy them online before entering the Park.

For the Labour Day weekend we have around 80 sailing yachts and catamarans available from Biograd, Sukošan, Pirovac, Šibenik and Murter.
Labour Day dates (long weekend 2026)
• Thursday, 30 April 2026 – embarkation in the afternoon, overnight at the berth
• Friday, 1 May 2026 – morning check-in and departure towards the Kornati
• Sunday, 3 May 2026 – return and check-out by 16:00

What are the typical winds in spring?
The most frequent are the maestral, tramontana and occasional bora.
Can I spend the night at anchor or on a mooring buoy?
Yes, in designated bays and anchorages within the Park. An alternative is Marina Piškera inside Kornati National Park.
What should I pack for a spring cruise?
A windproof jacket, a warm layer for the evening, light trekking shoes and your camera gear – nature is in full bloom.
Which departure marina should I choose?
The closest to the Kornati are Murter and Pirovac; Biograd, Sukošan and Šibenik also have excellent marinas.
